Bingo Blow

Premier Online Bingo Destination

Haven’t you noticed that countries with the friendliest laws have the highest-growing economy? This is because businesses will always be after laissez-faire approach. This means that as much as possible, the government should never get in the way businesses are being run by private entities. Otherwise, they would feel limited and would have a hard time growing their market and business. Thus, when laws banning smoking were created in England and Scotland, the online bingo operators started to become threatened and scared of their own future.

What Anti-smoking Law Means to Players

Let’s admit it. Most of those who play bingo are really smokers. Some could puff a few number of sticks, while others can’t live without going for at least a pack. Because of such behavior, most of the bingo halls were meant to be spacious and huge. They also had excellent ventilation to make sure that smoke air can properly circulate. in fact, some would have bingo rooms for both smokers and non-smokers.

There are plenty of reasons why bingo players smoke. For one, it becomes their addiction. Nicotine in cigarettes has a way of changing how your brain perceives things. When you’re not smoking, you tend to crave for it because you think that it’s part of your system. Hence, even when you’re playing bingo, you have to do it.

Players may also smoke because they can’t stand the tension. Bingo is one of those games where you could never predict the outcome. There are no complex strategies to think of. You’re highly dependent on the numbers drawn. To make your nerves feel calm, you smoke. Moreover, smoking can make you feel warm when you’re playing during colder months. Sometimes the heaters of bingo halls are not powerful enough, or wore, the venues don’t have one.

So when smoking ban came about, bingo players no longer have the chance to enjoy such benefits. Playing bingo becomes more a chore than a form of leisure.

When online bingo happened, these players have found another way of enjoying their beloved game with lesser restrictions.

However, That’s Not the Only Reason

You should know, though, that the popularity of online bingo is not solely because of the smoking ban. Even if it’s true that you are free to do whatever you want at the comforts of your own home without having to get yourself in trouble, there still far too many reasons why people play online.

Topping the list is the convenience. You don’t have to drive to bingo halls just to play the game. You can sit in front of your computer, and in minutes, be connected to various bingo rooms. You can even run the Auto play function, so you can do other activities while the computer system marks the called numbers for you. You also get to save in online bingo. There’s no need to pay for transportation or to set aside money for fuel. Virtual cards are just as affordable as the ones sold in bingo halls. Most of all, money appears to be more secure or safe in online bingo websites because of encryption technologies.

Online Bingo is Safer

18 September 2008

Vandals set fire to an old disused bingo hall in Glasgow three months ago and asbestos cement was found in the roof of the building by the construction crew clearing up afterwards.  Residents are furious that the local council had not told them previously about the presence of this highly dangerous material and it appears that the council members have known about it for some time.  The motto of this story is that it’s safer to play online bingo in your own home.
